Can taking a break from smoking help you “get rid of” nicotine tolerance?

Well I see I am still not totally thinking straight from my recent concussion. I had an error in this video as to how long the man from my clinic was off before relapsing. I thought the time period was 45 years. I went to look at the video Lost long term quits  and the actual time period was 35 years. Sorry for any confusion.
