There IS more than one way to quit smoking

A common refrain you will see at many quit sites supporting any means to quit smoking is something to the effect that "all roads lead to Rome" -- meaning whether you quit by cold turkey, NRT, vaping, Chantix or Zyban, cutting down or any other means out there, your method is fine as long as you do quit. There is some truth to this.

It's like, as this video shows, there is more than one way to ride a bicycle. Using the alternate pedaling method demonstrated here by John Polito, founder and editor of WhyQuit.com, you can eventually get from point A to point to point B on a bicycle.

It's likely to be a lot slower, less efficient and quite a bit more treacherous, but it can be done. It's just not a method that is recommended for most people wanting to ride a bike.

Quitting smoking by going cold turkey is the most efficient way to quit and the way that most people achieve success. So, for the most efficient, safest, cheapest, simplest and likely easiest way to quit smoking simply make and stick to a personal commitment to never take another puff.
