Don't quit quitting
A common refrain often written at internet quit smoking sites is “Don’t quit quitting.”
If the message is being delivered to a person who has a successful ongoing quit going as in “don’t quit this quit,” it can be an important and valuable message for all to see.
If on the other hand the message is being given to a relapsed smoker, the message may be counterproductive for the person giving it, all other successful quitters reading it and not have that much of a real impact for the relapsed smoker being addressed.
